Pigments are finely ground natural or synthetic insoluble particles that are used to add colour to paint and coating formulations. They can also be used to add bulk or a desired physical or chemical property to a wet or dry film. Some of the most common pigment classes are: Organic Pigment Green 7 , inorganic pigments, functional pigments, and special effect pigments are all available.
