It is utterly shocking that just recently; Punjab Police arrested a very well-known drug supplier in Mullanpur Dakha in a simultaneous operation with Jammu and Kashmir Police. Punjab Police reported that their officers recovered ₹4.94 crore in cash and a total of 38 false number plates connected with a large drug bust involving 30 kgs of cocaine in Jammu. This operation exposed a strong interlink with drug smuggling and the larger drug mafia trafficking issue.
