Yashtimadhu is a Sanskrit name of what we have also called Mulethi, the English name of Yashtimadhu is Liquorice. The logical name of yashtimadhu is Glycyrrhiza Glabra, it comes from the Fabaceae family. The name got from the greek term 'Glykis' its significance is 'sweet' and the term 'rhiza' says 'root' that is the reason the plant is known as the sweet root.
