A kilt is comfortable in any weather or climate. Wool breathes wonderfully in hot weather. Eight yards of pleated wool keeps you toasty in the cold. A well-maintained kilt will outlive any pair of trousers. There are no restrictions on who can wear a kilt, and there are no restrictions on who can wear one. The only thing you need to be aware of is that a kilt must be worn correctly. The pleats, for example, should be in the rear, and the kilt should be worn about the naval and to approximately mid-way over the kneecap.
