120 million Indians are unemployed now, bust post COVID-19 there may be a boom in e-commerce, and the gig economy. The lockdown because of COVID-19 has meant that more than 120 million people have lost their jobs in the month of April, and India's unemployment rate has risen to 27.11% according to a report by the Centre for Monitoring the Indian Economy (CMIE).
