In traditional healthcare assessments, clinical outcomes such as laboratory results or imaging findings have often taken precedence, providing crucial information about the physiological aspects of a patient’s condition. However, these objective measures may only partially encapsulate the multifaceted nature of a patient’s experience, failing to account for the impact of the illness on daily functioning, emotional well-being, and social interactions.
