With the advent of new technologies and developments in the areas of health sciences, pharmacy courses are very much in demand nowadays. One can easily pursue diplomas, certifications and other higher studies courses as per interest. Generally, in pharmacy courses, students are taught about retail and clinical pharmacy in relation to the making and safekeeping of various drugs used in hospitals and clinics. Students can either opt for research and development centres or pursue retail businesses like stores and consultancy. Due to the opening of large pharmaceutical companies, the future in the field of pharmacy is bright. Numerous jobs are available for pharmacists in government as well as private organizations. The drug industry witnessed a huge boom with the onset of COVID-19. The drug or pharmaceutical industry over the past twenty years has seen remarkable growth.
