Blown-in insulation, also known as loose-fill insulation, fills the cavities in a building. It is also used to cover the gaps in attic insulation. Any material which has a high R-Value can be used as a filler in the blown-in insulation process. Examples of such materials include styrofoam pellets, loose fiberglass insulation materials, etc.
