Many of the metals suffer from corrosion. It would rust, and you would not get as much use out of the toolbox as you must. This is actually problematic if you use your equipment frequently outside. Aluminium is less corrosive than steel. Your tools would be more protected as well as your box would last longer. There's a slim chance that the weather will get inside your particular toolbox as well as ruin your metal. Aluminium toolboxes are indeed very good.
