The snore mouthguard is designed to keep your tongue forward and prevent it from falling back toward the bottom of your jaw. Your tongue falling back, or posterior tongue position, causes the air passage to close, which causes snoring. With the anti-snore mouth guard in place, your tongue is forced forward by the pressure of two adjustable straps. Tightening these straps keeps your tongue in a forward position to stop snoring.
