Educational psychology studies how individuals learn, including how they are taught, how they know, and how they vary in their learning. The ultimate aim is to get a better understanding of how individuals learn and remember new knowledge. This area of psychology is concerned with the learning processes of early childhood and adolescence and the social, emotional, and cognitive processes involved in learning throughout one's whole life span, including adulthood.
