We all see fire safety signs when visiting retail stores, cinema theaters, or hospitals. But not many of us notice what each of these signs represent. All commercial buildings, including corporate offices, warehouses, and industrial units, are legally required to have safety signs in appropriate places. Even though these signs often go unnoticed, they are an essential part of the overall fire safety plan. As per the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 legislation, the ?responsible person? needs to ensure that the commercial buildings have all the relevant fire safety signage to keep the employees and customers knowledgeable and safe in case of an emergency.
