Why cut off marks are increasing every year for SSC CGL EXAM?

The cutoff for any exam is determined on the basis of the number of vacancies, which is usually ten times the total vacancies. SSC sort out many candidates after Tier 2 therefore cutoff is decided to accommodate nearly twenty times the number of vacancies. It is done in case any successful high-rank candidate does not turn up to join then the same post is granted to the proceeding rankers.
