The main gripe of some website owners about traditional CDN providers is the use of a pull CDN system in caching the content. In the pull CDN method, the CDN only pulls new web content when a new web request is made, which makes that initial request longer because the CDN must pull content from the origin server then deliver it to the web visitor. This takes a while and can make the page load slower.
