Recovery Hub India15 Mar, 2022Other
It is described as a person's ability to live important & productive lives as engaged citizens while suffering from mental illness. When discussing social inclusion, exclusion, or stigma, "social recovery" is frequently used. While these are crucial aspects of social rehabilitation, and some of them are discussed in other articles in this special issue, excluding them leads to an overly narrow definition of the concept and its importance. Because of the interdependence described earlier, mental health recovery's personal and social elements can only be separated analytically. Both coexist in a person's and their social group's life paths.
