Why are dental crowns an excellent way to restore tooth damage?

Dentistforchickens26 Aug, 2020Health

A dental crown is a tooth shaped cap designed for prosthetic restoration of the broken teeth. They are directly cemented on the faulty tooth to help restore the shape, size and appearance of the tooth. Dental crowns are generally used to replace the “damaged” part of a natural tooth but at times can even be extended to the root surface. By covering the enamel, we can also help prevent bacteria from moving into the teeth, ultimately decreasing the chances of a nerve infection.
