During a hair transplant, the Dermatological surgeon usually removes the hair from the part of the scalp having higher hair follicles density and roots up to the part with baldness complications like hair thinning and hair loss. The part of the scalp which donates the hair follicles is called the donor area and the part of the hair scalp with low hair follicles density that receives the hair follicles is called the recipient area.
