Which positioning devices would be useful for an unconscious Patient Positioning Devices?

Poonamcmi25 Feb, 2022Other

In a range of scenarios, we discovered evidence that the lateral position is better for securing an open airway than the supine position in patients with limited consciousness. Our findings back up the long-held suggestion to place all unconscious patients, including trauma patients, in a lateral position. Patient positioning devices are used for the care of Patient Positioning Devices undergoing various procedures. For instance, arm positioners are used to help patients maintain proper arm alignment during surgery. The foot positioner is used to reduce the pressure on the foot during surgery and promote faster recovery.
