Purnima Tithi is considered very important among the followers of Hinduism. When this full moon date falls in the Shukla of Ashadh month, then this full moon is called Guru Purnima. There is a religious belief that worshiping Lord Vishnu on the full moon day fulfills all the wishes of the devotees.
