WhatsApp working on Double Verification Code: Would Increase Security

To make user accounts on WhatsApp more secure, the company is now working on a feature known as the Double Verification Code. This is in addition to the verification number of six digits that WhatsApp already gives out through text messages. Therefore, even if the six-digit verification number is stolen, hackers will still need access to another code to use WhatsApp fraudulently.
