The rigid castor wheels do not turn along the axis and they are ideal for moving only in straight lines. On the other hand, you have the swivel castor wheels that can rotate by 360degrees along the axis of rotation, and therefore it is easier to maneuver such wheels or equipment such as a trolley for example along with tight corners or bends. But the swivel castor wheels generally have less weight loading capacities.
