Most of the children get benefited from turbinate reduction surgery when they have difficulty in breathing through the nose. It may lead to difficulty in sleeping, snoring, nose-bleeding and a turbulent airflow that leads to discomfort. This leads to the drying of the mucous membrane lining of the nose and the sense of smell also gets affected.
