Germany offers a residence permit for highly-qualified professionals from outside the EU, called the EU Blue Card. The EU Blue Card allows you to live and work in Germany for up to four years, with the possibility of extension or permanent settlement, as long as you meet the German EU Blue Card eligibility criteria.
