Teledermatology is particularly beneficial to individuals who have limited access to specialised care. It allowed for quick skin cancer screening in many regions where it would not have been practicable otherwise. The technology has the potential to increase access to specialist knowledge, lower healthcare expenditures, and improve overall care quality.
