Last Mile Route Optimization (also known as VRP) is a technique where you take a set of agents, say van drivers, and a set of customers, and you solve for the optimal fleet and routes to service them. Optimal routes are lower cost, lower distance, and shorter time than routes that a human planner could make for a big fleet.
