What is In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF)?

In vitro fertilization is a type of assistive reproduction technology in which eggs from a woman’s ovaries are fertilized by the sperm. When the egg gets fertilized it is known as an embryo which is either transferred to a woman’s uterus for further growth or can be frozen for future use.
