What is an MOT check?

An MOT is an annual inspection of a vehicle's safety, roadworthiness and exhaust emissions required by law in the UK. It is carried out by an approved MOT Check Tooting centre and must be completed before a car can be legally driven on the road. MOT stands for ?Ministry of Transport? and these checks are designed to ensure that vehicles on the road are safe for drivers and for other road users. The tests must be carried out on cars that are 3 years old or more and must be repeated at least once a year.
