Electrical gland is an important component used in electrical installations. It is also known as cable gland or wiring gland. The primary function of an electrical gland is to seal the end of a cable where it enters an enclosure. It also provides mechanical support to the cable, prevents it from being pulled out of the enclosure accidentally and provides protection from environmental factors like dust, water, and chemicals.
