What is a lightbox display?
A Lightbox Display, or simply known as Lightbox, is a software used to show images, videos, and other multimedia items inside a web page. Lightbox displays large images or plays videos without wasting space jumping to a new page — instead, it pops a translucent overlay on top of the current page when a user clicks on an image or link. It looks like the logout/shutdown dialog of Windows XP, but the center of dialog fades out to decrease the contrast, allowing the user to focus on the dialog box itself.
