Generally speaking, locks with high security are considered such because they have a much higher resistance to any type of compromise. They have special designs and characteristics that improve their ability to resist manipulation and forced entry for a given amount of time (which is standardized by organizations like ANSI). While they aren?t completely undefeatable, most are designed to make compromising them too expensive or difficult for criminals.
