What is a fashion trend that makes no sense to you?

There are many old fashion trends and new fashion trends. Some of the trends might have fallen off the fashion cycle but the one trend that always remains or keeps returning is the current new fashion trend of torn jeans. It might be very popular amongst teenagers but to wear torn clothes especially jeans that are known and famous for their rugged nature makes absolutely no sense.
