What are the RTO rules for selling a scrap car?

The demand and the understanding of the importance of scrap vehicles for sale are gradually increasing but in India, the auto recycling industry is still not particularly well organised. There are regional variations in the laws. In Delhi, a car's lifespan is 15 years for gasoline and 10 years for diesel; in Maharashtra, it is 15 years for both types of fuel; and throughout the rest of the nation, there is no set period of time after which a car must be scrapped.
