When a Wavlink router is factory reset, all personalized configurations are effectively erased and the equipment is returned to its default settings. All user-defined settings, including WiFi network names, passwords, and port forwarding policies, are restored to their default settings when a factory reset is carried out. Find the tiny reset button, which is typically located at the bottom or back of the device, to start the factory reset on a Wavlink router. Press and hold the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds, or until the router restarts, using a paperclip or other small, pointed object.
