WATCH: Kolkata Knight Riders bid farewell to Brendon McCullum as head coach's tenure ends

The first centurion of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Brendon McCullum was appointed as the head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ahead of the 2020 edition. In his debut stint, the team finished at the fifth position and fell short to qualify for the Playoffs. In the subsequent edition, they were dismal with their performances in the first half but made a terrific turnaround in the latter half and finished as the runner-up. Much credit has been given to the former Kiwi player for sparking the confidence of the players, which helped them to do well.
