Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored his world record-extending 117th goal for his national team in the UEFA Nations League match against Switzerland. Ronaldo, who had a goal-drought for nearly nine months without an international goal, routed Switzerland 4-0 on Sunday. Ronaldo was at his best against Switzerland as he scored twice in the game but missed two more chances before halftime, which could take his goal tally to 119.
