His path to becoming the company?s CEO is one of hard work, devotion, and a strong commitment to quality. Vikram Oberoi was born into a family with a long history in the hospitality business. The Oberoi Group was created in 1934 by his grandfather, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi, and his father, Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi, took over as chairman and CEO in the 1960s. Vikram grew raised in an environment that was heavily impacted by the values of the hotel sector, and he developed an early interest in business.
