Conveyor Belt Cleaner (Scraper) systems are used to remove excess material and debris from the conveyor belt to prevent build-up and damage to the belt and other components. They work by using a blade or series of blades to scrape the belt clean, with the removed material falling into a chute or other collection system. Like idlers, there are several different types of scraper systems available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
