Use of tree guards in farms

In many farms, using tree guards would be a good idea. A tree guard performs an important purpose ? to protect a newly planted tree from predation, usually from deer and rabbits. Both veteran and newly-planted individual trees can be protected from damage by livestock or deer with individual guards made of post and rail fencing. The type of livestock likely to browse the trees will determine how high and how far away from the tree the fence will need to be. It also determines the number of rails that would be needed, their spacing, as well as whether additional protection is required or not.
