US is working with New Taliban Government to Evacuate 100 Americans

On Tuesday, a fresh challenge to Afghanistan?s new Taliban government triggered a heavy-handed response. Taliban government?s security gunmen fired weapons into the air to break up a protest in the capital against their takeover of the country. The US government is actively working with the Taliban to try and ensure a safe escape for Americans still stuck on Afghan soil. The protest in Kabul was sparked by the Taliban?s apparent capture of Afghanistan?s last bastion of resistance, the Panjshir province.
