The Institute for Supply Management on Monday pronounced a production index rose to 59.3 in Nov from 57.7 in a prior month. Readings above 50 prove activity is expanding opposite a production sector, while numbers next 50 vigilance contraction. November�s reading exceeded a 57.9 economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had expected.
