United States to Host Virtual Summit of World Leaders

US President Biden will conduct a summit of global leaders of democracies in December. The meeting will take place virtually amid the coronavirus pandemic. The White House announced plans for the summit on Wednesday morning. The White House issued a statement and said, ?It will galvanize commitments and initiatives across three principal themes: defending against authoritarianism, fighting corruption, and promoting respect for human rights?.
