United Airlines offers flexible cancellation policies depending on the type of fare. Basic Economy tickets cannot be refunded or canceled, but other flight tickets can be canceled free of charge. You will get a full refund if you cancel your booking within 24 hours of making the reservation, or at least 7 days before departure. As per the United Airlines Cancellation Policy, passengers who buy refundable tickets receive a complete refund, but non-refundable ticket holders may get travel credits.
