Omega Astro23 Sep, 2024Astrology

Pitru Paksha is a special occasion in which the Hindus pay reverence in offering the deceased family members, which is also known as Pitrus. It is usually in the month of Bhadrapada from the full moon day, or Purnima, to Amavasya, or new moon day. This is the time when Hindus observe several processes, popularly known as Shradh, and pray for their relatives who are already dead. It is believed that performing these ceremonies brings peace and justification to the dead souls. Bringing goodness to the present generation is entwined with it.
