Intoday’s complex industrial environments, it is important to determine the risk of chemical, biological, or physical hazards to deliver safety to the workers. Qualitative exposure assessment is one of the fundamental tools in this process of risk assessment. As opposed to its quantitative counterpart which relies on accurate measures and facts, qualitative evaluation employs informed judgment, observational data, and expert opinion to evaluate the risk of potential exposure in cases where extensive data may not readily be available.
