Ultramassive Black Hole

Scientists have made an incredible discovery of an extremely massive black hole by utilizing gravitational lensing, which is a phenomenon where a closer object bends light from a more distant object behind it. The researchers conducted computer simulations of light travelling through the universe from a far-off galaxy, each simulation having a black hole of varying mass. They found that the trajectory of light in one of the simulations was a perfect match with the actual images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, leading to the identification of an ultramassive black hole situated in the foreground galaxy.
