Types of distributed ledger technology

Distributed ledger technology (DLT) involves various systems that store, share and synchronize data between multiple nodes. The three main types are Blockchain, which uses a blockchain for secure transactions; Hashgraph, which uses a directed acyclic graph for faster consensus; and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs), which provide scalable and distributed networks for data storage.
