Turning left at a controlled intersection

A controlled intersection can have a yield or stop sign, or traffic signals (traffic lights). Remember: only one vehicle in the intersection on a left turn. Proceed into the intersection 1/3 and stop if there is on coming vehicles or pedestrians in the left adjacent crosswalk.
