Trodelvy: Warnings and Precautions

Although the cost of trodelvy injection is affordable, it has some warnings and precautions: 1. Hypersensitivity and Reactions to Infusions: H Nausea/Vomiting: If a patient experiences Grade 3 nausea or Grade 3-4 vomiting during scheduled therapy, take antiemetic preventive medicine and discontinue trodelvy. 2. Patients with Reduced UGT1A1 Activity: People who are homozygous for the uridine diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase 1A1 allele are more likely to develop neutropenia, febrile neutropenia, and anaemia after starting trodelvy therapy. 3. Trodelvy has the potential to be harmful to developing foetuses. Inform patients about the risk of foetal harm and advise them to use effective contraception.
