Purpose is important, yes. But over-defining it? That’s where the magic starts to fade. In the early days of my travel career, I was all about the agenda. The checklist. The “must-sees.” I mapped out cities, timed museum entries, and left little room for anything spontaneous. But something changed along the way, maybe it was the people I met, or the places that refused to fit inside a tidy schedule.
