I love gourmet pizzas but always return to the classic: pepperoni, mozzarella, mushrooms, and green peppers. Making pizza at home is fun, especially with kids as sous-chefs! For those in Greece, your pizza needs improvement?thick crust, little sauce, and random cheese won?t cut it. Pizza Dough: 3 1/2 cups flour 1 cup warm water 2 Tbsp active yeast 2 Tbsp honey 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 tsp salt Mix water, honey, salt, and yeast. Add flour and olive oil, knead until smooth. Let rise, punch down, and rise again. Tomato Sauce: Simmer Italian tomato puree with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Toppings: Use pepperoni, mozzarella, mushrooms, and green peppers. Slice pepperoni thick, use decent mozzarella, fresh veggies, and bacon if desired. Assembly: Spread sauce on dough, then mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms, and peppers. Bake at 400?F for 20-30 minutes until the crust is browned. Enjoy!
